THE QUIET EARTH

Our take on Martinborough Pinot. Whole bunches, carbonic fermentation in neutral stainless steel to express pure fruit. Wildly made with grapes from Cambridge Road Martinborough plantings. "A wine which comfortably straddles sweet fruit and savoury complexity with great control, it successfully blurs the lines between fine and natural wine. A fine wine, verging on greatness." — Stephen Wong, Master of Wine

A natural unfiltered appearance, still bright and true to the variety's colour spectrum leads to aromas and flavours of plums and tea, mangosteen berries, blackcurrant juice and violets. Fine tannins, no oak noticed, medium+ acid line and a lengthy, even finish. A super food friendly expression with best drinking from day of purchase through 2029.
